ARE THERE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY?
To qualify for consideration as an honoree for the 2022 The Cleanie Awards, your accomplishment(s) must have taken place between January 1, 2021 and September 1, 2022.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO APPLY?
Applications are open September 19, 2022 – January 6, 2023.
HOW DO I APPLY?
You will be able to submit a nomination to the 2022 awards via the awards portal on September 19, 2022. Please check the website then.
ARE THERE FEES INVOLVED?
Yes, there is a one-time entry fee which will be used to defray the expenses of the judging and administrative processes involved in awarding The Cleanie Awards.
WHAT IS THE JUDGING PROCESS AND WHO IS INVOLVED?
The Cleanie Awards judging panel will review all nominations, with the exception of the two People’s Choice categories: Best Media Outlet and Project of the Year, and score submissions based on strict criteria. The general public will cast votes for the Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Honorable Mention winners.
WHEN ARE WINNERS ANNOUNCED?
We will announce winners in February 2023.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I WIN?
We will notify all winners prior to the general announcement so winners can prepare to publicize the great honor. Winners can participate in our customized marketing plan that includes social media promotion, national media outreach, and more.
